What’s it about?
The Recovery café is the perfect vehicle to help them get from where they are to where they want to be. The informal, non-stigmatising atmosphere of a café environment, the helpful drop-in sessions of local NHS and charity staff and the weekly support of understanding peers can develop confidence, a better understanding of rights and responsibilities, long-lasting friendships, skills, experience, and ultimately hope.
What’s sessions are taking place?
The main session takes place Thursday at 4pm.
Other activities that take place include:
- Gardening (Wednesdays)
- Writing and poetry (Thursdays 2pm)
- Singing (Thursdays at 6pm)
- Quizzes (last Wednesday of each month at 11am)
