During the scrubs trial period it is advisable that staff bring their own workwear to change in to.

We are setting temporary changing rooms up at the moment. Initially the rooms will not have sanitation stations but these will arrive shortly. If the rooms have sinks in them or close to them these should be used for handwashing instead.
The process for personal items such as phones wallets etc. should still be followed as the lockers are NOT personal issue and keys must NOT be taken home. Lockers may be placed in corridors near changing rooms. This will be done only with the approval of the Fire Safety Adviser
All staff will be offered a test and the testing matrix has been outlined in Rob Webster’s daily updates. Asymptomatic testing is ‘priority three’ starting with vulnerable groups.
The three priority strands are:
Group one are the highest priority. These are colleagues who have symptoms themselves, and also those living in a household where someone has symptoms. These are carried out at Barnsley, Fieldhead, Calderdale Fire Station and Kirklees College.
Group two are those in a ‘hotspot’ area – where some colleagues who have been working in a close working environment have tested positive. Other people might not have any symptoms, but to help us ‘track and trace’ the virus staff members in that area will be contacted to offer them a test at Fieldhead.
Group three are all other colleagues who don’t have any symptoms. Starting with our most vulnerable staff groups (as identified in the Trust occupational health policy) these colleagues will be contacted offering them a test at Fieldhead.
There are no plans to test staff who are shielding.
There are testing sites in Barnsley, Calderdale, Kirklees and Wakefield and there is also the option to use the national testing sites or order a home test via the government’s website.
