Our members’ council election
The nominations stage for election to our Members’ Council closed on 17 March 2016. Elections will be held in Calderdale and Kirklees and information on the ballot can be found in our notice of poll.
The vacant seats in Barnsley (1 seat) and Wakefield (2 seats) were uncontested. As a result, Shaun Adam is duly elected in Barnsley and Bob Clayden in Wakefield. Peter Walker has been re-elected in Wakefield. The seat for the rest of South and West Yorkshire remains unfilled.
