Bretton Centre tenth anniversary
We celebrated the unit’s tenth birthday on Friday 10 August 2018 with a day of fun for staff and service users.

The Bretton Centre is a low secure inpatient service which provides care for 38 men in 4 wards, based at Fieldhead in Wakefield. The wards are supported by a therapy centre and community teams. This provides the low secure part of the secure pathway.
The event included food and drink, stalls, games and a display of photographs of trips and events over the past decade.
There was also a recognition event where staff were presented with awards by service users.
The big event followed weekly activities in the run up including a bake off, a sponsored walk, Bret’ten’ Pin Bowling, a NHS70 Windrush carers day, a bush tucker trial, a sports day, a pool tournament, a creative session, a football match, and a quiz.
