We’re proud to go rainbow for Pride

To celebrate the region’s Pride events this weekend, the cabin at the entrance of our Fieldhead site in Wakefield has turned rainbow!

The rainbow flag is a symbol of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) pride and LGBT social movements. The colours on the flag reflect the diversity of the LGBT community.

Our cabin also includes light blue, light pink and white stripes to represent the transgender community.

The Trust has recently developed an LGBT+ staff network to actively promote equality and diversity across the Trust and create an inclusive workforce. The network also supports staff who identify as LGBT+ to achieve their potential and maximise their contribution.

Calderdale Pride will take place on Saturday 10 August, followed by Wakefield Pride on Sunday 11 August.
