National Inclusion Week – introducing Charlene Sibanda

Date:

This National Inclusion Week we want to introduce Charlene Sibanda who has started her new role at the Trust as the health and wellbeing practitioner for the BAME workforce. This is a new role co-funded by the Trust and NHS Charities Together.

Charlene has previously worked as a psychological wellbeing practitioner for the North Kirklees IAPT service in the Trust. In this role, she worked with people experiencing common mental health difficulties such as depression, anxiety, stress and work-related issues; providing person-centred 1:1 therapy.

In her new role, Charlene will work to ensure that all BAME colleagues Trust-wide feel engaged, equal and well supported. She is keen to use her previously acquired skills and knowledge to ensure that all individuals’ wellbeing is catered for in a complete and holistic way. This includes taking into account experiences and putting into place changes that staff want to see both in their work and personal life.
