Transgender equality policy – service users

This policy is consistent with the Trust’s Vision, Mission and Core Values and supports the delivery of dignified, respectful and equitable care for all service users. It contributes to the Trust’s Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) priorities by addressing health inequalities, improving access to services and promoting person‑centred care, including proactive support for Carers as the Trust’s Tenth Protected Characteristic.

The policy recognises and respects people whose gender identity differs from the sex observed at birth, including people who are gender fluid or non‑binary.
