Trust colleagues celebrate international health and care workers
Leaders from across West Yorkshire Health and Care Partnership came together to celebrate the contribution of internationally educated (diaspora) health and care workers at the Diaspora Healthcare Champion Awards on Tuesday 18 March 2025.

Three colleagues from our Trust attended the event in recognition of our commitment to supporting internationally educated colleagues and ongoing work on global health which is being undertaken in the organisation.
They were chief medical officer Subha Thiyagesh, consultant psychiatrist Rajarshi Das, and medical staffing advisor Amanda Conway.
The Diaspora Healthcare Champion Awards are run by Global Health Partnerships. They honour the contribution of our international workforce, whose global knowledge, experience, and connections help shape innovative approaches to reducing health inequalities, providing outstanding care and improving people’s health and wellbeing.
