South West Yorkshire Partnership Teaching NHS Foundation Trust is delighted to announce its success in the recent University of Huddersfield Apprenticeship Awards 2025.

Congratulations to our five allied health professionals (AHP) apprentices, from whom three won awards and two were highly commended:

  • Tamara Kerins – Apprenticeship Ambassador of the Year
  • Lisa Kelly – Level 7 Apprentice of the Year
  • Rebecca Webb – Level 6 Apprentice of the Year
  • Laura Clayton – Highly commended, Level 6 Apprentice of the Year
  • Emma Dalton – Highly commended, Level 6 Apprentice of the Year

The ceremony was held on Friday 6 June and the awards were presented by the University’s Vice-Chancellor. Established in 2022, the University’s annual awards recognise and celebrate the excellent successes and achievements of apprentices that have made an outstanding contribution to their job or workplace, as well as employers that have been pivotal to the apprenticeship programme.

The university currently delivers apprenticeships to over 600 learners across the Yorkshire and Humber region, highlighting the significance of the achievement by Tamara, Lisa, Rebecca, Laura and Emma!

Apprenticeship facilitator Jenny Richmond said: “It was a pleasure to celebrate alongside the apprentices; the awards were well deserved. It was clear to see they had all put so much effort and passion into their apprenticeship. Their achievements not only highlighted their personal growth but also demonstrated the benefits of apprenticeship programmes in developing highly skilled, motivated professionals.”

Well done to everyone involved with the apprenticeship programme across the Trust for making this possible.
