Chantry remembers

Chantry patients, relatives and staff have created artwork to commemorate Remembrance Day 2018 which this year fell on the 100th anniversary of the end of the first world war.

They collected plastic bottles and painted them to make “The Chantry Wave”. One relative has been collecting these in her local community and joined in with the painting on the unit.

Chantry’s housekeeper also knitted some poppies to mark the day.

The activity gave everyone time to reflect and space to remember families and friends that have served in our armed forces.
