Information about our services during industrial action in February

Date:

Junior doctors will be taking part in industrial action from 7am on Saturday 24 February to 11:59pm on Wednesday 28 February 2024, a total of five days.

The care and safety of people who use our services is our highest priority, and it is important that people continue to use our services when they need them.

Some appointments with our services between Saturday 24 February and Wednesday 28 February may be rearranged. You will be contacted by your healthcare team if your appointment needs to be changed. If you have not been contacted, please continue to attend as planned.

To help us continue giving high quality safe care to everyone, some of the usual activities our services provide may be limited during this time.

If you have any questions, please speak to your healthcare team.

Information about getting urgent support if you or somebody you know are experiencing a mental health crisis is available on our website here.

Please use NHS services wisely during industrial action. This will help make sure that care is available to those who need it the most. If you need help, you can still contact 999 in a life-threatening emergency and NHS 111 online for urgent care. Information is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on the NHS website, and local pharmacies and GP practices are also available.
