Volunteer to become our patient safety partner

Our patient safety team are looking for a volunteer to join their team as a patient safety partner. Patient safety partners are an exciting new role within the NHS and will be a key voice for patients and the community who use our services, and an important part of helping us to improve safety and quality.

The role is for 8 to 10 hours per month. Experience is not essential, but it is important that you have a genuine desire to support patient safety improvement.

If you are interested in applying for the Patient Safety Partner role, please complete an expression of interest form. Please complete the form carefully as we will rely on this information to assess whether you have the relevant skills and experience.

Expressions of interest will need to be completed and submitted by 5pm on Wednesday 20 September 2023. 

Informal meetings to discuss progressing further with the patient safety partner role will be held on Friday 6 October 2023 in person at Fieldhead Hospital, Wakefield.
