Can the major incident team attend an incident using the PPE that they were wearing on their base ward?

What is the benefit of wearing PPE?
Covid-19 can be transmitted by staff. Therefore, when social distancing cannot be maintained for a sustained period of time, PPE is required to reduce the risk of transmission.

If we have a service user who has recovered from coronavirus, how safe are we to see this patient wearing the PPE provided to us? How can we be sure they are completely recovered?
If working at less than 2 metres away from the service user, the Trust PPE should be adequate as long as you are not completing any aerosol generating procedures.
